Description
Small spacecraft for fundamential space researches (MKA-FKI) PN Relek is designated to study the physical processes of magnetospheric relativistic electron emission and transient phenomena in the Earth's atmosphere, on the Sun and in the Universe.
Major scientific tasks - study of processes of acceleration and ejection of magnetospheric electrons; study of effects of high-energy particles on the upper atmosphere and ionosphere; observation of transient phenomena in the atmosphere in their possible connection with interactions of energetic particles; study of acceleration mechanisms in the atmosphere as possible sources of high-energy electrons.
