Description
Mars-2,3 SC are designated to explore Mars planet and planetary space by delivered to the planet
surface lander as well as orbiter which carries out the functions of an artificial satellite of the planet.Mars-2 and Mars-3 have identical structure, on-board units, service systems and instruments and are designated to carry out identical major exploration programs. There are several differences (modifications) in scientific payload set and, accordingly in a list of resolved scientific tasks.
